Tofu Waffle

Last night, I went to Ambarukkmo Plaza with my boyfriend. After having dinner, we went to ACE Hardware. We strolling around and in the kitchen section, I found a waffle maker. Actually I really want to have a waffle maker. I’ve been searching for it whether in online seller or search it in home appliances shop and I haven’t found it. So, I decided to buy that waffle maker. I  got three types of plate. Plate for make waffle, sandwich, and grill. Although I got three types of plate, I believe I just use the waffle plate.

This morning I confuse about my breakfast. Actually I want waffle for my breakfast and of course to try my new waffle maker. But I didn’t have some ingredients to make a pancake. I opened my refrigerator ant didn’t found both of eggs and fresh milk, I just found some tofu and decided to make tofu meatball. I’ve crush the tofu but suddenly I think why I didn’t make waffle from tofu. Aaaand I still can make a waffle but from tofu 😉

Cooking time: 15 minutes | Serving: 1

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces of tofu
  • A tablespoon of all purpose flour
  • A pinch of parsley
  • A teaspoon of oyster sauce
  • A pinch of salt and pepper
  • A little bit olive oil or butter

Directions

  1. Crush the tofu.
  2. Add a tablespoon of all purpose flour.
  3. Add parsley and season it with salt and pepper.
  4. Combine all until completely mixed.
  5. Preheat the waffle maker, then ad some olive oil or butter.
  6. Add the mixture into the waffle maker.
  7. Cook them until done or until the top of tofu waffle turning brown.
  8. Serve it with your favourite sauce.
