Tea based drink, whether hot or cold, can make a better day. Tea has nutrient contents that give so many advantage for our health. For example, polyphenol as antioxidant, caffein for improving blood circulation, and catechin to lower the cholesterol levels, blood pressure, and blood sugar.
Nowadays, there’s so many kinds of tea like green tea, black tea, earl grey tea, darjeeling, and fruit infused tea. But if you want to drink that kind of tea, you have to go to fancy restaurant, cafe, or coffee shop that will make you spend much money because it has high price. Actually, you don’t need to go to the fancy restaurant, cafe, or coffee shop, you can make your favourite tea and enjoy it in your own home as the companion when you are studying, doing homework, or just enjoy your spare time.
In this post, I will share my thai tea recipe. As I know, Thai Tea is the common drink that served by fancy restaurant, cafe, or coffee shop. The combination between the sweetness of milk would blend perfectly with the bitter taste of black tea. You can also make this recipe whether hot or cold, but I prefer drink it in hot way.
Thai Tea
Cooking time: 5 minutes | Served: 1
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of black tea
- 200 ml water
- 50 ml evaporated milk
- 3 tablespoons of condensed milk
- A tablespoon of sugar or your favorite sweetener
Directions
- Boil the water.
- Brew the tea with the boiled water.
- Add evaporated milk, condensed milk, and sugar.
- Stir them until dissolved.
- Pour into serving glass.
- If you like ice thai tea, just add some ice cubes.
